Sometimes, you go out and buy a whole box of donuts just to take pictures of them like they’re your tiny pageant children.
Welcome to my life in 2018.
Hold on tight.
But even if you don’t love Valentine’s Day for the reasons I’ve shared, you’ve gotta be on board with the chocolate.
I mean, the holiday literally encourages you to drink copious amounts of wine and eat too much chocolate. Single or taken, Valentine’s Day doesn’t discriminate, chocolate for all!
When I was brainstorming ideas for my Valentine bar cart and Galentine’s themed girls night in that love for chocolate stayed with me. I may love chocolate, but I love my besties more than any candy bar hands down.
Thus the theme was born, I Love Y’all More Than…
This hand lettered I Love Y’all More Than downloadable wall print is available in two versions. If you follow me on Instagram, you’d have gotten a chance to vote which version you liked better for the photoshoot. You can get both versions at the end of this post for your own girls night in Valentine party.
From there, I filled my infamous bar cart with the things I love best.
A doughnut cake, which I’m having at every party from now on.
Made of store bought doughnuts and doughnut holes, a simple cake platter and some flowers for the extra touch, this was the most simple yet striking thing to put together. It may or may not still be on the bar car two days later, I just can’t bear to part with it! I keep an embarrassingly large stash of themed napkins on hand at all times, just in case a fitting occasion arrises. I collect them all from the impulse checkout section at TJMaxx.
I also love a good latte, and these pink cups are leftover from my Gilmore Girls Netflix revival bar cart in 2017. And of course la Croix and wine. It’s a real tossup which child I like best.
